Outworld Station Guide

Real builds, real mistakes, real solutions. Every guide based on actual gameplay testing.

The Mid-Game Is Over. Now What?

You have Antimatter power. You have Crusader ships. Your station is a sprawling automated empire. The game told you to “Complete the Arkship and Escape The Void.” But there is no quest marker, no clear recipe list, and the Void is a new biome full of threats you have never seen.

Outworld Station 1.0 introduced the final stretch: the Arkship, the Void Event Horizon, and the Space Elevator. This is how you finish the game – not by guessing, but by following a production plan.

The Short Version

The endgame has three phases: (1) Build the Space Elevator to extract rare surface resources from planets. (2) Research Quantum materials in the Laboratory. (3) Construct the Arkship at your Shipyard, then navigate through The Void: Event Horizon biome to escape. Total time from Level 10 to completion: 15-30 hours depending on infrastructure.

Quick-Fix: The Endgame Checklist

PhaseTaskKey ResourcesTime
Phase 1Build Space ElevatorSuperalloy, Quantum Crystals, Electronics3-5 hrs
Phase 2Establish LaboratoryResearch Modules, Power 500+/sec4-8 hrs
Phase 3Construct ArkshipRare Alloys, Quantum Crystals, Ship Components6-12 hrs
Phase 4Navigate The VoidCrusader-class escort, Defense, Fuel2-5 hrs

Start with the Space Elevator. Without it, you cannot access the rare surface materials needed for the Arkship.

Phase 1: The Space Elevator

The Space Elevator is a new module in 1.0 that lifts high-value resources from a planet’s surface to your station. It is the bottleneck for the entire endgame.

Building the Elevator

ComponentMaterialsQuantity
Elevator BaseSuperalloy + Titanium20 + 15
Elevator CableCarbon Fiber + Alloy30
Elevator PlatformElectronics + Superalloy10 + 5
Power LinkCopper + Connector5 + 2

Placement: Build the Elevator Base on the planet surface, then connect it to your station via the Elevator Cable. The Platform goes at the station end.

What the Elevator Unlocks

Once operational, the Space Elevator gives access to:

  • Surface mining nodes not reachable by conventional drills
  • Quantum Crystal deposits (critical for Arkship)
  • Rare gas vents with higher output than standard ones
  • Deep-core samples used in laboratory research

Where to Build Your Elevator

Deploy it on a Terran or Lava planet with confirmed Quantum Crystal and Rare Metal deposits. Use your Planet Scanner (Station Level 8+) to survey before building. Building on a wrong planet wastes 15 Superalloy and hours of cable production.

Phase 2: The Laboratory

The Laboratory processes samples from the Elevator into research and craftable materials. You need it to unlock the Arkship blueprint.

Minimum setup: 1 Laboratory + 4 Research Modules + dedicated power line (500/sec minimum).

The Lab Power Trap

The Laboratory draws power continuously -- even when idle. If your power grid is at 90% capacity when you build it, the Lab will push you over the edge. Build at least one dedicated Antimatter Reactor (see our Antimatter Power Guide) before starting Phase 2.

Phase 3: Build the Arkship

The Arkship is your ticket out. It is built at the Shipyard, same as Crusader-class vessels, but requires endgame-specific components.

Arkship Bill of Materials

ComponentMaterials NeededSource
Arkship Core50 Quantum EssenceLaboratory (from Deep-Core Samples)
Arkship Hull30 Void-AlloyLaboratory (from Rare Metals)
Arkship Engine10 Infinite ConduitLaboratory (from Quantum Crystals)
Life Support20 Electronics + 10 Oxygen TanksFactory
Navigation Array15 Advanced Circuits + 5 Quantum CrystalsFactory + Elevator

Production tip: Start stockpiling these materials early. The Arkship Hull alone requires 30 Void-Alloy, which needs 45 Rare Metals and 15 Superalloy. Set up a dedicated production line while you research.

Real Scenario: My Endgame Resource Crisis

I reached Phase 3 with everything researched and ready to build the Arkship. Then I checked my inventory: 6 Quantum Crystals. I needed 60.

The problem was I had built my Space Elevator on a planet with low Quantum Crystal spawn rate. I was getting 2 crystals per elevator cycle (every 5 minutes). At that rate, it would take 2.5 hours just for crystals.

The fix: I scouted a Lava World with confirmed high-density Quantum Crystal deposits, relocated the Elevator (painful, cost 10 Superalloy to rebuild), and crystal production went to 8 per cycle. Crystal stockpile done in 45 minutes.

Lesson: Scout first, build second.

Phase 4: The Void – Event Horizon

The Void is a new biome added in 1.0. It is a dangerous region where the Arkship must navigate to escape. You need:
